  • NAU-039 Navigation & Safety 1 (NS1) (0 Credits)

    This course is for those working towards their Master Limited (60 T), Fishing Master IV and Master 150 GT. Students will learn to plan safe navigation, using collision regulations, watchkeeping standards, vessel lights and signals, distress signals, fog and maneuvering signals and watchkeeping at night and in restricted visibility. This comprehensive 7 day course prepares mariners for writing the Transport Canada exam, Navigation & Safety 1 (NS1), on the final day of the course.
